Dicky Huey, M.D., Medical Director, Brain & Stroke Network at Baptist Health System, Nancy Schmucker, Director of Clinical Outreach, and I participated in a stroke awareness educational seminar at the Copeland Activity Center on South Flores Street, San Antonio. Approximately twenty seniors listened intently and asked questions as Dr. Huey described the signs and symptoms of stroke and discussed how to Act FAST. Do you know what FAST is?
The class was organized by OASIS of San Antonio. OASIS is a non-profit which works to provide quality education to seniors for free or minimal cost. OASIS is free to join. Learn more.
