Stroke Awareness is Important

With so many great resources on hand at any one of our five hospitals we are actively involved in the community and often present educational seminars at local organizations, non-profits, and church groups. On Monday, February 2nd Baptist Health System's VP of Neurosciences, Suzanne Delboccio and Ana Tattersall-Cocke, Director of Stroke Services, gave a class on stroke awareness for the group OASIS, a national nonprofit educational organization for mature adults. Nearly 50 people attended and many more were placed on a waiting list for future classes. A blood pressure screening was also given to the attendees.
