It's never too late to Start!

Baptist Health System is a proud supporter of National Start! Walking Day which kicked off today, April 8. The steps of City Hall were covered in a sea of green as people showed up in sneakers and displayed their commitment to walking and improving their health. You too, can incorporate walking into your daily routine. Don't have 30 minutes to walk? Don't worry. You can get the same benefits by doing three 10-minute walks. Visit the American Heart Association website and download free walking plans and find a walking path in your area.

Baptist is also excited to be the presenting sponsor, for the second consecutive year, of the San Antonio Heart Walk which takes place on Saturday, November 7. For more health and walking tips visit Baptist Health System.
