Baptist Employees Helping Women in Need to Dress for Success

Baptist Health System employees Heather Anderson, Tommye Austin, Cheryl Baker, Lisa Mlcak, and Ryan Wilson Flores are holding a "Suit Drive" for the organization Dress for Success (r). They are asking people to donate gently used women's suits, separates or jewelry to to help low-income women "Dress for Success."


What can I Donate?
Current clothing and accessory needs:

  • Clothing items should meet the needs of the average client between the ages of 26-33 and that the clothes are current in fashion and no more than 5 years old.
  • Women's Suits (plus sizes biggest need)
  • Professional separates: pants, blouses, skirts--neutral colors only, No animal print or busy patterns
  • Professional shoes (closed toed, low heel, neutral colors)
  • Handbags and briefcases
  • New panty hose
  • Trouser socks
  • New and unused make-up
  • Jewelry - especially pearl earrings and necklaces
The "Suit Drive" will run through June 26th.
