As the temperatures soar we need to be extra careful in the heat as heatstroke and heat exhausation are potentially deadly conditions. In training for my first marathon this year I have to be extra careful while running in the heat. I drink lots of water, run very early in the morning, and pour water over my head to cool down while running long distances and races. Are you at Risk?

My co-worker Sam Spencer (see photos)and I ran a 1/2 marathon at McCallister Park. It was very hot and we drank water constantly!
